The Middle EIight studio desks are essentially composed of several central tiered platforms suspended between two rack modules.

The left and right rack modules are identical. Each has four rack units of space above the desktop and four rack units below the desktop. They also have a large storage cabinet with pull-off front and rear covers. These cabinets are useful for small computers, cables and other gear you need close by but don't use all the time.

In both the Middle Eight 2BP and 2BH, the main platform may be recessed to hold large 88 note keyboards, shallow audio consoles and control surfaces.

Middle Eight 2BP:
Upholstered armrest with foam rubber underlay, flush or recessed central platform for consoles and keyboards. Secondary platform is slide-out. Fixed monitor and speaker shelf. User specified width (upon order).

Middle Eight 2BH:
Everything in the 2BP except the upholstered armrest

Middle Eight 2BT:
Slide out keyboard tray
Desktop is fixed (not recessed)
No secondary slide out platform
Fixed width
