Domestic Shipping Options (Within Australia)
1. Local Delivery
If you're in the greater Melbourne area we can deliver your order partially or fully assembled and install it into your workspace.
2. Furniture Removalist - Available to all Australian capital cities (+60km radius) and most regional areas.
Where possible, we encourage the use of furniture removalists to freight our products around Australia. Removalists handle the cartons more sensitively and we have never had a consignment damaged in transit by a removalist.
3. Commercial Courier - Available to all Australian destinations
If possible, we like avoid shipping with commercial couriers because our heavy (>20kg) cartons are prone to damage by automated handing in large freight depots. While this is not a major issue, it is worth spending the extra dollars on a removalist to guarantee an intact delivery.

International Shipping (Destinations outside of Australia).
Fusion Studio Works is involved in shipping to destinations outside of Australia only to the extent that we pack your order in sturdy, strapped carboard cartons and make them available for collection from our workshop. We provide all necessary customs documents once your order is made. Ultimately, the customer accepts full responsibility for the consignment once it is collected from our workshop.
It is the responsibility of the customer to procure and pay for shipping via an online freight broker such Interparcel Australia. The broker will present you with several shipping carrier options. For example, FedEx, UPS etc.
Please request from us a list of the weights and dimensions of the product's packages which you can enter into the Interparcel website at any time to obtain an estimate to your location.
The customer, of course, has the option to organise shipping from any other provider of their choice.
Why?
Our reasoning for this is with bulky, heavy items such as our studio desks the customs departments of some nations may choose to delay releasing goods and sometimes insist on inspecting the contents of cartons. While this happens extremely rarely, Fusion Studio Works does not have the personnel to monitor international handling by shipping companies and foreign customs departments.
Final Statement on International Shipping
99 times out of 100 there are no problems with international shipping but because Fusion Studio Works is a small workshop with limited resources, we have chosen this approach in order to mitigate factors outside of our control.
The important thing to note is there is no difference between a freight service purchased by the customer and that which is purchased by Fusion Studio Works. The customer chooses from the exact same selection of services and is charged the same fee for the service.
Local duties and taxes are not calculated by Fusion Studio Works. Your local port authority may contact you and withhold the shipment pending payment of relevant duties and taxes. Please note there are no duties and taxes for importing into the United States.
